Installation and Setup
Nothing unexpected when original unit is getting back to the same minilab (QSS31, 32, 34, 37) if nobody touched the brackets under the unit (QSS30, 33, 35) which are used to align Exposure unit. You may have "No full sweep exposure" issue, described here if the brackets were improperly installed back. The number of specific actions required if the unit is similar model, but not original or even other type. Must have appropriated Laser Driver PCBs and System Software. Refer Service Manual for details.
Be sure to use AOM Drivers and Laser Driver PCBs in good working condition. Double check all connectors before switch On minilab. Be awared that AOM Drivers' BNC connectors will cause 6073 Synchronouos sensor error when misplaced.
Three basic operations are required after getting laser unit back into minilab:
- 1. Paper centering
- 2. Laser beam alignment
- 3. Initial setup
All of them are in the Service Menu. To enter the Service Menu you need the password. Password is changing daily. You can see it on every page of this web-site in the green frame above. Please refer your Service manual for more information about three required steps or ask your local Noritsu engineer for support.
Autotuning:
In some cases this additional operation is required for QSS30-31 Type A Blue or Green laser guns. The following Menu windows are useful to check laser unit:

B/G Laser Reset:
This is another name for Autotuning of Type A1 (Blue or Green) and Type Ff (Blue only) laser units.
